QAKI comes from "brown cloth" ??? fabric long linked to uniforms worn by soldiers, veterans, public servants, and people of service. That cloth was made to be recognised, to last a shift, and to look the same at the end of a season as at the start.
We are not making uniforms. We make everyday pieces that keep some of that seriousness: weight in the hand, a clear colour, and a cut that does not need explaining. The house is in Hyderabad. The work is clothing you can put on before the day starts.
We do not print ranks or borrowed badges. Respect shows up in how a shoulder sits, how a placket is stitched, and how a colour stays one colour. A black polo stays black. An olive knit stays olive.
Navy, olive, charcoal, and a cream collar all sit inside the same idea: colour used with care, graphics used sparingly, and fabric you can feel before you read a label.
